Our Member Spotlight is on Emilia Yonge, HTP-A

Meet our Member Emilia!

I want to introduce you to Emilia Yonge (a.k.a Wahili Onkhteo or Comes With War) who is a HTP-A, a breast cancer mentor and healing minister in Katy, TX. She is owner of SuMantra Holistic Mental Health Support at Katy House of Healing and creator of 4Elements Energy Mediation. She is also co-volunteer for the HTPA Virtual Book Club and co-leads HTPA's Houston chapter.

Emilia has been a long-time student of Healing Touch and simply loves 'doing the work' in many different ways and settings. Her mission in life is to help improve mental health awareness and care through knowledge and application of energy medicine.

In this Member Spotlight, you will hear about:

  • What drew Emilia to Healing Touch and how her practice has evolved
  • Her focus on the 4 elements and the EmPower circle series she facilitates as well as the book that she is writing
  • The cancer support group she is starting
  • Her recent discoveries with essential oils and how she uses them to enhance her sessions with clients as well as a class that she is teaching
  • How the HTPA Virtual Book Club was started and the benefits members receive from being a part of this amazing chapter
Emilia even shares a technique on using Healing Touch and essential oils that incorporates the vagus nerve, and particularly how she believes this technique helps support people’s mental health during COVD!

Emilia can be contacted through her website-in-progress: theemwoman.com (She is working on having all her stuff in one place on this website)

For now, she can be found on these platforms:

This interview can be found on the  Member Spotlight page of the member site.

This series highlights the diverse ways in which our HTPA Members are bringing Healing Touch into their profession, lives, and communities. The views and opinions expressed are those of the speaker and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Healing Touch Program, Healing Touch Professional Association Healing Touch or the community. Healing Touch Program and Healing Touch Professional Association offer this as a platform for discussion and awareness, and recognizes and respects that each individual has their own viewpoint and beliefs.
