HTPA is excited to present another inspiring episode in our Expand Your Network – Exploring Self-Care Modalities series!

In this engaging Expand Your Network: Exploring Self-Care Modalities presentation, holistic nurse and integrative health educator Patti O’Rourke invites Healing Touch practitioners to discover how the ears can be powerful tools for healing—not just hearing.

Participants will learn how ear-based therapies can support pain relief, nervous system regulation, emotional balance, immune function, and overall well-being. Through simple demonstrations and practical explanations, Patti shows how these techniques can be easily integrated into both personal self-care and client sessions.

This presentation explores:

  • Ear (Auricular) Reflexology and how the ear serves as a map of the entire body

  • The science and application of Battlefield Acupuncture for rapid pain relief and calming the fight-or-flight response

  • The NADA protocol and its role in supporting addiction recovery, trauma, stress, and emotional regulation

  • An introduction to Rife healing music and frequencies for post-operative support and whole-body regeneration

You’ll walk away with simple, accessible techniques—like ear massage—that can be used anytime, anywhere, as well as a deeper understanding of how ear-based modalities complement Healing Touch, intuition, and intention.

A wonderful addition to your healing toolbox and a reminder that powerful healing tools are quite literally at our fingertips.
