HTPA is excited to present another inspiring episode in our Expand Your Network – Exploring Self-Care Modalities series!

This Expand Your Network presentation features Patti O’Rourke, a lifelong nurse, educator, and complementary healing practitioner who introduces us to Korean Hand Therapy—a simple, powerful technique that maps the entire body onto the hands to relieve pain and promote healing.

Used by healthcare professionals and self-care practitioners alike, Korean Hand Therapy is easy to learn and can be practiced anywhere—no needles or formal training required.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • How the hands mirror the whole body
Understand how the front and back of the hands correspond to different areas of the body—from joints and muscles to the spine and internal organs.

  • How to locate and relieve pain
Learn how to identify painful areas using a grid system and relieve discomfort using finger pressure, pens, or simple tools.

  • Everyday tools for healing
Discover how crystals, essential oils, or even small acupressure pellets can enhance your healing practice.

  • The heart–hand connection
Gain inspiration from the beautiful insight that your hands are an extension of your heart—making your touch a true healing gift.

Whether you're supporting your own wellness or seeking new tools for client care, this is a powerful addition to your energetic toolbox.
