Our Member Spotlight is on Monica Andrusko, BSN, RN, CNHP, HTP-A


Meet our Member Monica!

Monica has had a glass half-full to overflowing mindset from the time she was a child and teenage cheerleader. She strives to help people discover their healing potential and find positivity and passion in their life’s journey.

For nearly 15 years she worked as a medical /surgical floor nurse, where she successfully built and integrated an Inpatient HT program, providing HT to patients and staff. She attended the 2018 and 2019 annual 9/11 Veterans Stand-Down, organizing HT providers to volunteer and provide HT to Veterans at the event. She published a short story in the book Nurse Sparks: Nurse Stories to Illuminate, Inspire and Ignite. Her story, titled “From Burnout to Gratitude”, illuminated her passion for holistic nursing and how it can be put to practice at the bedside. 

Monica has studied multiple healing modalities including Contact Reflex Analysis, iridology, Reiki, essential oils, crystal healing, sound healing with tuning forks, and herb nutrition and nutrients. She is a Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice and a Certified Natural Health Professional with Bachelors of Science degrees in Nursing and Marketing. She is following her sole’s passion and purpose, culminating her experiences to offer hope and relief from physical, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges.

A native Oregonian, Monica has lived in the Willamette Valley, Southern, and Eastern Oregon and currently resides in Portland. She loves to travel, explore nature in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. She enjoys skiing, cooking, gardening and having fun with friends and family. Monica’s aspirations center on helping people be their best, regain their health, and have a renewed look on life.
