Carol Komitor, Founder of Healing Touch for Animals®

CMT, HTCP/I, CHBMT, HTACP, ESMT

Based on years of experience working with world class trainers, veterinarians, animal shelters, private clients and through extensive studies, Carol Komitor formulated the curriculum for the multilevel energy therapy program known as Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA). Healing Touch for Animals® techniques were created and cultivated by Carol through study, practice and experiential knowledge.

As a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor, Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Hospital Based Massage Therapist, Carol witnessed the powerful, often dramatic, effects of energy therapy on humans. Her experience since 1991 as both a veterinary technician and a Healing Touch Certified Instructor/Practitioner inspired her to develop energy therapy techniques for animals. Carol’s passion for animals and her knowledge of energy therapy brought about a program of hands-on courses offering a cooperative model that bridges holistic

animal healthcare with traditional veterinary medicine.

Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) was launched in 1996 with the first course held in Hunt, Texas. The students who gathered came to learn how to heal their animals, and in turn, they found new avenues to facilitate healing in themselves. Today, Healing for Animals® is offered worldwide.

In 2005, HTA provided the opportunity for its practitioners to become certified as a Healing Touch for Animals® Certified Practitioner (HTACP). Our HTACP’s are working alongside veterinarians, with trainers, in shelters and with individual animal caregivers to enhance the cooperative model of animal healthcare.

Today, Carol has an active Healing Touch for Animals® and their people practice in Colorado. Her continued close connection with the work has allowed Carol to keep expanding her knowledge and understanding of both the healing process and energy therapy. She is recognized as one of the leading experts in essential oils for animals and has also developed techniques which incorporate tuning forks for use in sound therapy. Her private practice

gives her the opportunity to develop new effective techniques to aid in the healing of animals. Carol’s practice includes distance healing for those who are unable to visit her in person.
