Dr. Shaner is a mind-body specialist teaching complementary and integrative medicine and related topics at Saybrook University.  She founded Praxis: Wellness in Life & Work, a wellness practice specializing in mind-body approaches to life. She is a certified hypnotherapist, EFT Master Trainer, and a Reiki Master. She brings each of these approaches into her work with clients in her private practice, where she works with clients who have concerns ranging from physical discomfort, addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma challenges, to peak performance and flourishing. She regularly teaches and speaks at the Washington National Cathedral and at the Hope Connections for Cancer Center.  As cofounder of Integrative Medical Consulting she has coauthored The EFTfree Manualand is cofounder of EFTfree.net, a nonprofit website and organization devoted to EFT and mind-body education.
